"I attended an awards tea for a local non-profit in 2008 which Taking Tea in Style was the caterer. I was impressed as soon as I walked into the room how elegant Sharon and her team had made the setting. The service was outstanding, and all of our needs were tended to without the servers being overly intrusive. All of the food I had was delicious- finger sandwiches and desserts- and were provided aplenty. The teas were also quite notable- and the best I have had by far, especially in the local area as compared to two other tea shops I have visited. Sharon is professional and knowledgeable, yet warm and approachable. She even took the time, although she was very busy with the event, to stop by our table and very patiently answer some questions we had about tea etiquette and names of the teas we were having. I absolutely recommend Sharon Levy and Taking Tea in Style with the highest regard.

The tea party set-up exceeded my expectations. The dining room was like an elegant parlour. I loved the silver serving set, the flower petals, the teapots and tea cups, and the creative use of the velvet floral table arrangements that I already had set up. The imagination and creativity that went in to creating “the visual” of an elegant affair was phenomenal. Everyone was captivated when they walked into the room to see the beautiful delights awaiting them. The teas and delicacies were delicious. It was refreshing to be served and everyone felt relaxed.
